In 1991, six years after their masterpiece "Brothers in Arms", Dire Straits released their last studio album "On Every Street" after a break of several years and a temporary separation

They delivered a great final work in which the band simply made really good music in classic British understatement style without marketing pomp and forced continuation of their previous successes
