A warm Hello to all customers and friends of HighFidelity.
My reason for setting up a „customer information” section right now is driven by the current situation with Covid-19. This has impact on the economy (in our case the music industry) and on our private life.
For you as my customer I have the following message:
Your orders have been taken care of. Like many other distributors and dealers worldwide we are waiting for missing articles.
I realize this situation is difficult for you as a customer, but we cannot give you a date, when these missing LPs or CDs will be reprinted and delivered to us.
We ensure you, however, that we deliver your order as soon as we receive the missing article(s).
To give you an idea of the situation I would like to quote an employee of one of our suppliers.
„The press plant, RTI, has been manufacturing in the shift system since mid-August, but not yet with full staffing.
MFSL has currently 100 titles in the waiting queue many of these are re-prints.
If we receive something, it is most of the time only a percentage of the number we ordered. As a rule, we immediately pass that on to our dealers.
Our shelves are quite empty.”
And MFSL is not the only company which has LPs printed by RTI.
This not only applies MFSL, but also to Analogue Productions and other US companies whose employees have been sent to work from home or whose operations had to be closed down.
I therefore ask you for some consideration and understanding for the situation of dealers and distributors. We put all our effort into completing your orders.
Thank you and best regards
Heinrich Bauer
